Biotopkartierung Steiermark

"Primäres Ziel des Datensatzes ist es, ein nachvollziehbares, allgemein gut verständliches und weitgehend selbsterklärendes System zur Bewertung der Biotope der Steirischen Biotopkartierung zu liefern,

um eine Priorisierung des Schutzbedarfes zu erreichen. Dabei wird die Schutzbedürftigkeit von Biotopen, basierend auf den Indikatoren „Verantwortlichkeit“, „Gefährdung“ und „Hemerobie“ abgeleitet und in fünf Stufen – von „prioritär schutzbedürftig“ bis „gering schutzbedürftig“ – eingeteilt. Die flächendeckende Biotopkartierung der Steiermark in Verbindung mit dem neu entwickelten Bewertungssystem dient als Daten-Grundlage für den IST-Zustand der Naturraumausstattung der Steiermark."
