Baumartenkarte 4 Klassen BFW Österreich

Die Baumartenkarte basiert auf Vegetations-Index-Zeitreihen die aus Sentinel-2- Satellitenbildern, errechnet werden. Gemeinsam mit Gelände und Vegetationshöhenmodellen, wird mit Neuronalen Netzen (eine Methode des maschinellen Lernens bzw. der künstlicher Intelligenz) eine Baumartenkarte für die gesamte österreichische Waldfläche erstellt.

Die Baumartenkarte mit 26 Klassen wird nach der Erstellung, für das vorliegende Produkt, auf 4 Klassen zusammengefasst. Die räumliche Auflösung beträgt 10-mal-10-Metern und entspricht der Auflösung der Sentinel-2 Satellitenbilder.
