INSPIRE Service Natura 2000 Gebiete FFH-Richtlinie (pSCI) Tirol

Natura 2000 ist die Bezeichnung für ein europäisches Netz von Schutzgebieten, das von der Europäischen Union gemeinsam mit den Mitgliedstaaten nach Meldung der geeigneten Gebiete durch die Mitgliedstaaten (pSCI = proposed Site of Community Importance) eingerichtet wird. Diese Meldung von Gebieten muß in einer sog. "Nationalen Liste Natura 2000" erfolgen. Rechtliche Grundlage dafür bietet die Habitat-Richtlinie. Neben der Habitat - Richtlinie besteht ebenso, entsprechend der Vogelschutzrichtlinie, die Verpflichtung, die geeignetsten Gebiete zum Schutz der seltenen und bedrohten Vogelarten zu Schutzgebieten zu erklären (SPA = Special Protection Area). Schutzgebiete nach der Habitat-Richtlinie und Schutzgebiete nach der Vogelschutzrichtlinie sind sodann Bestandteil der Netzes Natura 2000. Die beiden Richtlinien verfolgen das gemeinsame Ziel der Sicherung der Artenvielfalt durch Erhaltung der natürlichen Lebensräume, der wildlebenden Tiere und Pflanzen sowie der wildlebenden Vogelarten. Die Europaschutzgebiete Natura 2000 FFH-Richtlinie (pSCI)sind dem INSPIRE Datenthema Schutzgebiete (Annex I) zugeordnet.
