Piezen und Waale Tirol

In den Jahren 2015 bis 2018 wurden in Nordtirol über 300 Piezen und 970 Waale systematisch durch die "Tiroler Waalgruppe" mittels GPS erhoben und begleitende Informationen zu deren Bauart, technischem Zustand, begleitenden Wanderwegen sowie botanischen und sonstigen Naturbesonderheiten erfasst. Wichtige historische Informationen wurden durch Literaturrecherchen und Befragung von Einheimischen erhoben. Die Veröffentlichung eines Buches dazu ist in Planung.
